UPDATED 8/2/2023 - In addition to the on-going ban of open fires on SFTR, Las Animas County has issued a Stage 1 fire ban with additional restrictions. Keep in mind the county ban applies to the ENTIRE county. The rules of SFTR are in addition to the county rules. NO OPEN BURNING!

There are also restrictions on the use of off-road vehicles, chainsaws, chippers, mowers, and any fuel powered devices. Charcoal grills, fireworks, fire pits or any type of open fire (including propane) is strictly prohibited.

Any violation of this carries a very hefty fine. Please be considerate of your neighbors and obey the rules.
